This year, we are sharing with you each week a featured talk from the API Platform Conference 2024, our international event dedicated to the API Platform framework. After presentations of the topics by Clément Talleu and Laura Durieux, discover this talk by Derick Rethans, creator of Xdebug and member of the PHP Foundation.
On the agenda: better debugging with Xdebug #
Derick will show us how to use Xdebug to optimize productivity when writing PHP, with a focus on the improvements in the recent versions 3.2 and 3.3 of this tool. His talk will also cover some more complex debugging scenarios, where he will present solutions to these challenges.

He is the creator of the debugging tool Xdebug and has been a member of the PHP Foundation since 2022, where he contributes daily to the evolution of the language.
