Meet API Platform Con 2024 speakers: Managing Attributes in API Platform

The program for the fourth edition of the API Platform Conference 2024 was announced last week, revealing a multitude of topics centered around the API Platform framework ecosystem. From now until the event, we invite you to discover in detail the scheduled talks for this two-day event, as well as the featured speaker highlighted in this article.

On the agenda: API Platform, des développeurs d'attributs ? #

We remind you that two tracks, one in English and one in French, are scheduled for the conference. This talk will be given in French.

Clément Talleu, lead developer at, will present a talk on attributes in API Platform. He will demonstrate the use of this concept to leverage the advanced features of the framework, thereby simplifying complex tasks. This talk will also cover the history of the RFCs that led to the implementation of attributes in PHP since version 8, and will explain their management and interpretation in API Platform.

Clément Talleu joined in 2015 as an intern and has since become a lead fullstack developer. He has worked on numerous projects for various clients, including Decathlon, ABinBev, EDF (the French multinational electric utility company). He also trains our team and our partners on different frameworks and programming languages such as Go, Symfony, and Laravel. Additionally, he is the author of training programs and blog articles.

The API Platform Conference 2024 will take place on September 19th and 20th in Lille, as well as online. Tickets are currently available at the regular rate: €169 excluding tax for two days of conferences. Tickets are still free for students and job seekers upon presentation of valid certificate.
