API Platform Conference 2025: Dates and Details Announced
Published on February 17, 2025
A few weeks ago, we announced on our blog the anniversary of the very first commit of API Platform. The year 2025 is special for the framework as it marks its first decade. To celebrate this milestone and highlight the growing influence of API Platform, which has become an essential tool for building modern and high-performance APIs, we have planned several events. Among them is a memorable fifth edition of the API Platform Conference, where activities will take place throughout the two days to celebrate this special anniversary.

See you in September in Lille
After a record-breaking 2024 edition in terms of attendance, the API Platform Conference returns on September 18-19 at EuraTechnologies, Europe's largest startup incubator, featuring a premium conference center. As every year, the event will be hybrid: in addition to taking place in Lille, it will be streamed live online. If you missed the previous edition, you can find the review page, conference replays, and the aftermovie on our YouTube channel:
Call for papers still open
The call for speakers is open until March 23, and we’ve already received many interesting topic proposals. Submit your talk, and who knows—you could be one of the thirty speakers representing this special edition. Topics and speakers will be announced on May 14. In the meantime, here are some topic guidelines to help maximize your chances of being selected:
- API Platform and its ecosystem: Does your project rely on API Platform, helping your team save valuable time in development? Have you successfully completed a migration, discovered an unknown feature, or contributed to the framework's evolution? Would you like to share a concrete use case and highlight your development journey? Share your experience with us!
- Going further with API Platform: The framework is built on a powerful and practical JavaScript ecosystem. Do you have feedback to share on this topic? Have you explored AI with API Platform or deployed a project and want to share your experience? Tell us all about it!
- FrankenPHP: A part of the conference schedule will be dedicated to FrankenPHP, our web application server. Share your experience with us
- Frameworks and tools: Software architecture, performance, security, data… Share your knowledge of the PHP and JavaScript ecosystems with us.
- Society: Alongside technical talks, we always include cross-disciplinary topics that reflect our daily lives, such as recruitment, accessibility, and inclusivity.
You can find on the CFP page what the speaker package includes (accommodation, transportation, etc.).
Support the API Platform Conference!
As every year, we are looking for companies to support the organization of the event, which incurs costs such as venue rental, catering, accommodation, etc. Beyond managing expenses, supporting the event allows you to position your company alongside the leading businesses in the PHP & JS ecosystem. Contact our team to discover the sponsorship package: we offer options ranging from €1,000 to €5,000 excluding VAT, as well as customized offers tailored to your visibility goals.
Early Bird tickets available until May 13
Event ticket sales opened at the same time as the CFP. Trust the programming team and secure your spot at the Early Bird rate of €139 excluding VAT. Your ticket grants you access to both days of the conference, the anniversary party on the evening of Thursday, September 18, the sponsor hall, and catering throughout both days. As every year, the event is free for developers looking for a job and for students. All the information to obtain your ticket is available on this page.
Meet the core team in Paris
This year, in addition to the conference, we are organizing a meetup tour across France with the core team, who will visit several cities throughout the country. The first date was announced last week: Kévin Dunglas and Antoine Bluchet will be in Paris on Tuesday, March 25, at CCM Benchmark Group for a meetup. As of now, there are still a few spots available, so don’t wait to join us!
