Meet API Platform Conference speakers: Consuming HTTP APIs in PHP
Published on September 04, 2024
September marks the launch of the API Platform Conference, our event dedicated to the API Platform framework, which will take place on September 19 and 20 in Lille, as well as online. The organization of this conference is nearing completion, and our teams are doubling their efforts to offer you an unforgettable event. Additionally, a few sneak peeks of the keynote announcements are gradually being revealed. We continue to introduce our speakers on the blog, and after unveiling Matt Holt's talk and the HR roundtable a few days ago, discover the talk by Nicolas Grekas, a member of the Symfony core team and a long-time speaker.
On the agenda: Consuming HTTP APIs in PHP the Right Way!
Nicolas Grekas will present a brand-new topic on Friday, September 20. He will address the challenges posed by server-to-server communication via HTTP requests and share best practices for overcoming them, particularly by using SOLID principles of object-oriented programming. He will also demonstrate how to leverage tools like php-http/discovery and symfony/http-client to master this subject. This talk will be given on Friday, September 20, at 2:00 PM, and it will be delivered in English.
