Caddy
The modern web server written in Go, featuring automatic HTTPS, minimal configuration and built-in HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 support.
Why Caddy?
Caddy stands out for its straightforward Caddyfile configuration and its automatic TLS certificate provisioning through Let’s Encrypt, with no manual setup. Its modular architecture makes it an ideal foundation for building custom application servers, reverse proxies, static file servers or API platforms. Caddy powers several of our open source projects, including FrankenPHP, Vulcain and the Mercure hub, and we regularly deploy it in production as a drop-in replacement for Nginx or Apache.
